Chat warnings
Warn members in your community chat, time them out automatically after too many warnings, and keep a mod log.
Warnings work like the Discord bot's warn system, in your community chat on the website and in the app.
Giving a warning#
Open the chat's member list, click the member's name and pick Warn…, then type the reason. The member gets a notice on Farm Sim Game with the reason.
You can warn when you can time members out: the community's owner, staff whose staff role has Moderate chat, and chat roles with Time out members. Like other moderation, people with a chat permission can only be warned by owners and Administrators.
Automatic timeout#
Under Settings, pick how many warnings, within how many days, time a member out, and for how long. The timeout covers every channel of your chat, like a timeout from the member menu. Each warning at or past the limit times them out again. Leave it Off to only keep a record.
Mod log#
Pick a Mod log channel to get a card there for every warning: who was warned, by whom, why, how many recent warnings they have, and whether they were timed out. Make it a staff-only channel in the chat settings (channel permissions) so players don't see it.
Seeing and clearing warnings#
Warned members lists everyone with warnings, with their recent and all-time counts. Click a name to see each warning, delete one, or Clear all warnings. Staff whose role can only view this page see the list but can't change it.
