These alerts keep your Discord in sync with what's happening on your game server. The bot can post every player who joins or leaves, ping a role when a specific player joins, tell your staff when someone logs in as admin, and list mods as they're added, removed or updated. Each one has its own channel, so you can send them wherever suits your community.
Before you start#
- Your server must be added to Farm Sim Game first. See Add your game server.
- The bot sees joins, leaves and admin changes each time it checks your server, about once a minute.
- If a channel or role is missing from a list, run
/setupin Discord, choose Update Channels and Roles for Website, then reload the page. Channels must be inside a category to show.
Set it up#
Go to Game servers and click the green pencil button next to your server.
In Discord Settings, pick a channel for Player Join Notifications and Player Leave Notifications.
Under Game Server Player Alerts, pick an Alert Channel and an Alert Role. Type a Player Name and click Add for each player you want to watch.
Under Game Server Mods Change Notifications, pick a channel for Mods Change Notifications.
Under Premium Features, pick channels for Player Admin Join Notifications and Player Admin Leave Notifications.
Click Save Server Settings. Player names you add with Add are saved straight away, but channels and roles need this button.

👤 FarmerJoe joined Green Valley Farms
Leave message with playtime (Premium)#
Message Type: Embed Message. Message Format:

Mods added#
Premium#
With Bronze or higher you can:
- change the Message Type, Message Format and Embed Color of join, leave and admin messages, and the Message Format of mods posts;
- use Player Admin Join Notifications and Player Admin Leave Notifications;
- have
{player}mention linked Discord accounts.
Without it, the edit page shows "With premium enabled this feature can be more customizable." and the admin channel lists show Disabled - This is a premium feature. Join, leave, player alerts and mod changes work on the free plan with the default messages. See Premium.
Troubleshooting#
Nobody's join or leave was posted#
- Make sure a channel is selected and you clicked Save Server Settings.
- Give the bot View Channel, Send Messages and, for embeds, Embed Links in that channel.
- Check your server shows Online at the top of the edit page. The bot only sees players while it can read your server's Link XML.
A player alert didn't fire#
- Both Alert Channel and Alert Role must be set and saved.
- The name must match exactly, including capital letters, spaces and symbols. Copy it from your server's player list if you can.
- Alerts fire when the player joins, not while they're already online.
The admin channels are greyed out#
They're a Premium feature. See Premium.
One mod change came through as "removed" and "added"#
The bot compares mods by their file name. If a mod's file name changed, it shows as one mod removed and another added. A new version of the same mod shows as Updated.
Where are the block and Discord ID buttons?#
The Add to Block List and Assign Discord User Id buttons are on the bot's New Player on posts, not on join or leave messages. See Player tracking and playtime roles.
