Farming sessions (/server event)
Plan farming sessions as Discord events. Members mark themselves interested, get tagged when it starts, and the bot can start the server for you.
Plan a farming session and the bot makes it a Discord event. Members click Interested, and when the session starts the bot tags all of them in your chosen channel. It can also start the game server 15 minutes before, if it's offline.
Before you start#
auto_start uses the Server Power Manager, which needs Gold or higher.
Sessions themselves are free.
- Pick where sessions are announced: Sessions Channel on the More Discord Alerts card of your server's settings. Without one, the bot uses the server's online status channel.
Commands#
/server event cancel <session> Admins & command rolesCancel a farming session.
/server event create <title> <date> <time> <timezone> [server] [hours] [auto_start] [description] Admins & command rolesPlan a farming session. Members mark themselves interested and get tagged when it starts.
/server event list Admins & command rolesShow planned farming sessions.
The /server event commands need Administrator or a role allowed to use the server command
(see Command roles).
Plan a session#
Run /server event create and fill in title, date (like 2026-11-07), time (24 hour, like 19:30) and timezone. Start typing your timezone, like America/New_York or Europe/London, and pick it.
If your community has more than one game server, pick it in server.
Set hours (1 to 12, 3 if you leave it out), turn on auto_start if the bot should start the server, and add a description if you like.
The bot replies with a link to the Discord event. Members click Interested on it.
What happens#
- 15 minutes before (with
auto_start): if the server is offline, the bot starts it through the power manager. It's skipped while the server is in Maintenance Mode. - At the start: the event is marked as started, and the bot posts in the sessions channel, tagging up to 80 members who clicked Interested.
- At the end: the event is marked as finished.
Use /server event list to see planned sessions and /server event cancel to cancel one. Cancelling
removes the Discord event too. Deleting the event in Discord also stops the announcement.
