Supporting modders
Thank the modders whose mods you use with a monthly supporter subscription or a one-time payment, chat with their team, and manage or cancel your support.

Like a mod? You can thank the team that made it. Every ModBarn mod is free and always will be: supporting a team is a voluntary thank-you that helps them pay for their modding, and it never unlocks anything. You can also chat with the team in their open chat room.
Supporting a modder pays that modding team. It's separate from FSG Supporter memberships (Bronze to Diamond), which support Farm Sim Game itself and unlock features on the website and bot.
Before you start#
- Sign in with Discord to support a team or join its chat.
- Find the team. Open Modders to browse teams, or use the Team page button on any ModBarn mod page. Teams that take support show Accepting support.
- If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to pay.
Why nothing is unlocked#
GIANTS Software, which makes Farming Simulator, only allows modders to receive voluntary donations: mods have to be free, with no paid memberships, paid chats or roles, VIP access, paid early access or paid downloads. So on Farm Sim Game, supporting a team gets you:
- a supporter badge in your tier's colour and icon next to your name in the team's chat (so the team and everyone in the room can see you back them),
- your name on the team's Supporters wall, if you want it shown, and
- the team's thanks.
The badge is recognition only: the chat is open to everyone, and the badge doesn't give you any extra access or permissions.
Every mod, update and download stays exactly the same whether you support a team or not.
Become a supporter#
Go to Modders and pick the team, or press Team page on one of their mods.
In the Support box, choose one of the team's monthly tiers. The price is shown next to each one.
Read the renewal line under the tiers, tick the box to agree to the Modder Support Terms and Refund Policy, and press Become a supporter.
You pay on Stripe's secure checkout page. Farm Sim Game never sees your card details.
You'll see a thank-you (and the team's own message, if they wrote one). It can take a minute for your support to show.
Your support renews every month at the same price until you cancel. The payment goes to the team's own Stripe account; Farm Sim Game keeps a small platform fee.
Send one-time support#
Some teams also accept one-time payments. In the Support box, under One-time support, choose an amount (or Other for your own, $1 to $500), add a message for the team if you like, tick the agree box and press Send support. One-time support isn't available everywhere yet; you'll only see it on teams where it's switched on.
When you download a mod#
When a team takes fan support, their mod pages and download pages have no ads: you'll see a Support card with their tiers instead, and Become a supporter opens the tier picker right there. Their download page has no ads either. Pressing Download first shows a support box where you can pick a supporter tier or send one-time support, with a No thanks, download for free button at the top: the download never depends on what you choose. If you support the team, you'll get a link straight back to the mod after checkout, and if you already support them you go straight to the download with a thank-you.
Chat with the team#
Every modding team has an open chat room. On the team page, press Join the chat (or Open the chat if you've joined before), or use Chat with the team on a mod page. Ask questions, report a bug, share screenshots or just say thanks. The team leader runs the room and team members moderate it. Supporters show with their supporter badge, and online supporters are listed in their own Supporters group in the member list. You'll also find it in your chats on the website and in the app.
Manage or cancel your support#
Open Modders I Support from your account menu, or go to /MySupport.

If a team switches support off, you won't be charged again and your supporter status lasts until the end of the period you paid for.
Troubleshooting#
My support doesn't show yet#
Payments can take a minute to reach us. Refresh Modders I Support or the team page after a moment. If a checkout was cancelled, nothing was charged.
I want a refund#
Support is voluntary, so it's generally not refundable, but the team can refund you: ask them in their chat. If a charge was a mistake or you can't reach the team, email terms@sargentinteractive.com. See the Refund Policy. Please ask before disputing a charge with your bank.
I can't delete my account#
Cancel your monthly support on Modders I Support first. Accounts with active monthly support can't be deleted, so you aren't charged after your account is gone.
