Fan support for communities
Let your players support your community with monthly supporter tiers and one-time payments, paid straight to the Discord server owner's own Stripe account.
Fan support lets the players in your community thank you for your servers and events with a monthly supporter tier or a one-time payment. It needs an FSG Supporter tier for the community, and only the owner of the Discord server can set it up, because the money goes to their own Stripe account.
Supporting is a thank-you, not a purchase. Supporters get a badge in your community chat, their name on your supporters wall and your thanks. Don't give in-game money, items, admin rights, a reserved slot or any other access for support. See the Community Support Terms.
Set it up#
It's under Community page in the sidebar. You need to be signed in as the server owner.
The Community Support Terms and the billing service's monetization documents.
Support is your income, so taxes on it are yours.
Stripe asks for your details and a bank account. It takes about 5 minutes.
Start from a template or make your own, up to 5, each with an icon and a colour.
Once there's a tier, your page gets a Support tab and a support box, and it shows no ads.
Fees#
Payments go straight to your Stripe account. Farm Sim Game keeps a platform fee (shown on the Fan support page) and Stripe takes its processing fee. The page shows this month's estimated revenue, and Open your Stripe dashboard has your exact balance, payouts, refunds and tax forms.
