/game and /playtime put your game servers' stats one command away. Members can see who's
online, look at the equipment map, check the Top 25 leaderboard and activity graphs, browse your
server profiles and look up how long someone has played. There's nothing to set up: the commands
work as soon as a game server is linked to your Discord.
Before you start#
- The commands show every game server linked to this Discord on Farm Sim Game, the same list you see on Game servers. If there are none, the bot replies "This discord currently does not have any Game Servers setup."
- To link a server, see Add your game server.
- Some results depend on other features. Top 25 and playtime need players to have finished at least one session. The equipment map needs the Bronze tier (see Premium).

Who can use them#
Both commands are public, so everyone can use them, whatever you set in
Command roles. Discord hides /game from members without the
Send Messages permission.
What each command shows#
All servers at once#
The /game servers commands post a public message in the channel. With more than one server you
get Previous and Next buttons to page through them.
| Command | What it shows | Per page |
|---|---|---|
/game servers players | Players Online: each server's status, how many players are online out of its slots, and each online player with how long they've been on. Admins are marked (Admin). | 1 server |
/game servers equipment | Equipment Tracking: each server's status and a map of where its equipment is. | 1 server |
/game servers profiles | FarmSimGame.com Game Servers: each server's status, ranking, rating, views and a link to its Farm Sim Game profile. | 10 servers |
Pick one server#
The /game server commands first show you a dropdown of your servers. Only you see the dropdown.
Pick a server and the bot posts the result in the channel for everyone.
| Command | Dropdown title | What it posts |
|---|---|---|
/game server players | Player Stats | Players Online for that server: status, players online and its profile link. |
/game server equipment | Equipment Tracking | The equipment map for that server. |
/game server top25 | Top 25 Players | The 25 players with the most playtime on that server. Idle time doesn't count, and players on the server's Top 25 Ignored Players list are left out. |
/game server activity | Player Activity | Two graphs: Hourly Server Player Activity (most players online each hour, last 24 hours) and Daily Server Player Activity (most players online each day, last 7 days). |
Each dropdown option shows the server's name, its status and its Farm Sim Game server ID, so you can tell servers with similar names apart.
Playtime lookup#
/playtime looks up playtime across all game servers linked to this Discord. It posts a
Player Playtime message with each matching server, the in-game name, hours played, number of
connections and when they were last seen, plus a Total Matched Playtime.
| How you use it | What it finds |
|---|---|
/playtime | Your own playtime. You must be linked to your in-game player (see below). |
/playtime discord_user:@Member | That member's playtime, if they're linked. |
/playtime player:Name | Every player whose in-game name contains what you typed (at least 2 characters). |
Use either discord_user or player, not both. The bot shows up to 25 matches.
Lookups by Discord user only work for players your staff have linked with the Assign Discord
User Id button on the player's New Player alert. See
Player tracking and playtime roles.
Anyone can still search by player name.
Examples#
Check who's online on all your servers:
/game servers playersPrevious Next
Look up a player by name:
/playtime player:FarmerJoePost a short message in your server chat channel listing /game servers players and
/playtime, then pin it. New players find out how to check the server before they ask.
Premium#
The commands themselves are free. A few results depend on your game server features:
- The equipment map is only drawn for Discords with Bronze or higher (servers added before the supporter tiers changed count as Bronze).
- Matching players to Discord members needs the FSG Server Companion mod and the New Player Unique Ids alerts, which need a supporter tier.
See Premium.
Troubleshooting#
"This discord currently does not have any Game Servers setup."#
No game server is linked to this Discord on Farm Sim Game. Add one from Game servers.
"No player data found for server …" after picking a server for the Top 25#
Nobody has finished a session on that server yet, or everyone who has is on the Top 25 Ignored Players list. Playtime is saved when a player leaves.
The equipment map is blank#
The map image is only drawn for Discords with Bronze or higher, and only when Farm Sim Game has a map image for your server's map.
"No playtime was found for you in this Discord's game servers."#
You aren't linked to an in-game player yet. Ask your server staff to link you, or search by name
with /playtime player:YourName.
I can't see /game#
Discord hides it from members without the Send Messages permission. Ask a server admin to check your roles and the channel's permissions.
