Signing in

Sign in to Farm Sim Game with Discord, Google or Facebook, add or remove ways to sign in, and what you need Discord for.

One Farm Sim Game account covers the website and the app: servers, communities, FarmLink, chat and ModBarn. You can sign in with Discord, Google or Facebook. Signing in the first time creates your account; there's no separate sign-up and no password to remember.

Sign in#

Open the sign-in page

Click Sign in at the top of any page, or go to Sign in.

Pick an account

Click Continue with Discord, Continue with Google or Continue with Facebook, then approve Farm Sim Game on that site. We never see your password.

You're back

You land on the page you were on, signed in.

When you need Discord

Managing a Discord server with the FSG Bot (My Community, the bot's settings, Discord alerts) needs Discord, because we check with Discord which servers you can manage. Everything else works with Google or Facebook.

Add or remove a way to sign in#

Go to Account › Sign-in methods. It lists Discord, Google and Facebook:

  • Add signs you in to that site and links it to the account you're using now. After that, either one signs you in to the same account.
  • Remove takes that sign-in method off your account. You always keep at least one.
  • Discord can't be removed once it's on your account.

Adding Discord to an account you made with Google or Facebook moves the account onto your Discord account. Your favorites, follows, supporter plan and everything else come along.

"An account with this email already exists"#

You tried Google or Facebook with an email that already belongs to a Farm Sim Game account. We never join accounts just because the emails match. Sign in the way the message names (for example Discord), then add Google or Facebook under Account › Sign-in methods.

Troubleshooting#

"That Discord account already has its own Farm Sim Game account."#

That Discord account was used to sign in before, so it already has an account. Sign in with Discord instead and add Google or Facebook there. If you don't need the other account any more, you can delete it under Account › Delete Account.

The app only shows Discord#

On iPhone and iPad the app offers Discord for now. Google and Facebook sign-in in the app is on Android.
