Introduction to Farm Sim Game
What the Farm Sim Game bot and website do for Farming Simulator communities, how these docs are organised and what to read first if you're new.
On this page
Farm Sim Game (FSG) is a Discord bot and a website built for Farming Simulator communities. You add the bot to your Discord server, link your Farming Simulator game servers, and set everything up from farmsimgame.com in your browser: server status and player alerts, live player displays, welcome messages, tickets, logs and much more.
FSG has a few parts that work together:
| Part | What it is | Where you find it |
|---|---|---|
| The bot | Lives in your Discord server. Posts alerts and messages, gives roles and runs slash commands like /game and /warn. /setup is the admin command, /help is open to everyone. | In your member list, and under / in any channel |
| My Community | The dashboard where you configure the bot for one Discord server: welcome, moderation, tickets, automation and bot settings. | My Community in the account menu (/ManageDiscord) |
| Game servers | Where you add and edit the Farming Simulator game servers linked to your community. | Game servers in the My Community dashboard, or My Servers in the account menu (/ManageDiscord/GameServers) |
| Community listing | A public page for your community on the Farm Sim Game Communities page, so more farmers can find you. | Community listing in the dashboard |

How these docs are organised#
The sidebar groups the guides the same way the product is built:
- Start here (this section) gets you from zero to a working setup: adding the bot, running
/setup, and finding your way around the dashboard. - Game server tools covers everything tied to a Farming Simulator server. Find your servers under Game servers in the My Community dashboard; each server's settings are on its own edit page.
- Welcome & invites, Moderation & logs, Roles & counters, Tickets & applications, Automation & alerts, Community & listing and Bot settings each match a group in the My Community dashboard sidebar.
- Reference lists every command, placeholder and bot permission in one place.
- Help & FAQ has troubleshooting, common questions and how to reach us.
Every dashboard page has a How this works link under its title that opens the matching guide here.
Press Ctrl K on any docs page and type what you're looking for, like player alerts,
welcome image or warn.
How setup works#
Getting a community ready takes a few minutes:
Use the Add Farm Sim Game to your server button and pick your server. You need Manage Server in that server. See Add the bot to your server.
Click Login with Discord on the website, then pick your server on My Communities (/MyDiscords). It's listed if you own the server or have Administrator or Manage Server there.
Type /setup and choose Update Channels and Roles for Website if the dashboard says it can't see your channels or roles yet. See First setup with /setup.
On Game servers, click Add a server and follow the wizard. See Add your game server.
Work through the dashboard sidebar. The dashboard tour shows you around.

Free vs Premium#
Most features are free. Premium comes from a supporter tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond) that you put on one community. It raises limits, such as how many game servers you can link, and unlocks extras like player tracking, welcome images, the interactive map, the power manager and a custom bot. Plans are on the Supporter details page.
What to read first#
If you're new, read these in order:
- Add the bot to your server
- First setup with /setup
- Dashboard tour
- Add your game server
- Server online and offline alerts
Run /help in your server for links to the website and our support Discord, check the
troubleshooting guide, or ask us in the
FSG Discord.
